WHERE: Sylvan Rd between Grass Lake Rd and Heim Rd in Sharon & Sylvan Townships
WHY: Unpaved road resurfacing
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, April 11, 2024, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Sylvan Rd between Grass Lake Rd and Heim Rd in Sharon & Sylvan Townships during daytime hours to perform unpaved road resurfacing.
The road will re-open at the end of each workday and remail open until work resumes the next morning.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately two days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.

WHERE: Sibley Rd between Conway Rd and Bush Rd in Sylvan Township
WHY: Drainage
BACKGROUND: On Monday, March 1, 2024, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin drainage work on Sibley Rd between Conway Rd and Bush Rd in Sylvan Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The roadwork is expected to take approximately five days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
