The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will soon start reconstructing Bush Road, between Pierce Road and Sibley Road in Sylvan Township. The project involves pulverizing the current surface and laying two new asphalt layers.
This reconstruction is part of a road improvement agreement with Consumers Energy. WCRC previously resurfaced McKernan Road and Brown Drive in 2024; Bush Road is the final segment.
Work is expected to take about two weeks, weather permitting. The construction start date is still to be determined by the contractor.
