WHERE: Old US-12 between Fahrner Rd and 2000 feet west of the City of Chelsea in Sylvan Township
WHY: Sign upgrades
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, October 17, 2024, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will be upgrading signs along Old US-12 between Fahrner Rd and approximately 2000 feet west of the City of Chelsea in Sylvan Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route,
The road improvements are expected to be within a week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
