WHERE: Several roads in Sylvan Township (see locations below)
WHY: Crack seal
BACKGROUND: On Monday, June 9, 2025, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin crack sealing roads in Sylvan Township. Below is the list of roads:
- Old US-12 between Chelsea City Limits West and I-94
- Cavanaugh Lk Rd between Pierce Rd and Chelsea City Limits
- Werkner Rd between M-52 and Sylvan Township Line
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The crack seal work is expected to take approximately four days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
