WHY: Permit work
BACKGROUND: On Monday, October 6, 2025, Consumers Energy will be working on Cavanaugh Lake Rd between Conway Rd and the Chelsea City Limits in Sylvan Township for permit work.
The project is expected to take approximately one day to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
