The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) conducted a virtual Public Information Meeting regarding the reconstruction project on Werkner Road between Sibley Road and M-52 in Sylvan Township, on February 9, 2026. The meeting was well attended, and WCRC staff addressed various questions. Additionally, the video, presentation, exhibits can be found under helpful links on the Werkner Road Project page.
WCRC will hold an in-person public information meeting on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 6 pm, at the City of Chelsea Council Chambers, 311 S. Main St., Chelsea, MI. WCRC staff will begin with a 30-minute public comment period followed by an open house format for public engagement.
