On Monday, August 14, 2017, a contractor for DTE Gas will CLOSE Geddes Road between LeForge Road and Prospect Road in Superior Township in order to complete the gas relocation work in preparation for the Geddes Road improvement project. Once the DTE relocation is complete, the Washtenaw County Road Commission’s contractor will complete the remaining portion of the Geddes Road project. The road will be closed to all traffic during construction.
Remaining work on Geddes Road includes replacing a concrete culvert on Geddes Road just east of LeForge Road. This work is scheduled to begin Monday August 21, 2017. WCRC expects the work to be complete in early October 2017. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
