Good afternoon,
It’s been a busy week for our organization! Our operations crews were able to perform two culvert replacements, both near the intersection of Fosdick Rd and Tamarack Dr in Pittsfield Township. While the culvert replacements are complete, there is still work to be done. Due to weather conditions, the culverts were covered with limestone so we could re-open the roads to traffic. We plan to return to this location at a later date to repave the roadway. Stay tuned!
This week, our Communications and Engineering departments hosted the first Virtual Public Meetings of the 2024 construction season, which include the Stony Creek Rd Bridge Replacement in Ypsilanti Township and the Miller Rd at Zeeb Rd Roundabout in Scio Township. The Communications team did a great job preparing for and hosting the meetings, and our senior project managers, Michele Ford and Nate Murphy, did a phenomenal job presenting on their projects. We are off to a great start for this year’s construction season!
Additionally, a huge thank you to Tiffany Lobbestael, Tiffany Oliphant, and Allen Squire for compiling 2024 township booklets over the last few months. Creating these booklets is a huge undertaking and extremely helpful communication tool for our townships. We expect to send these booklets in the next week.
