The subcontractor began placing concrete curb and gutter on Friday, July 14. The perimeter of the four splitter islands has been poured. The central island was poured on Monday, July 17. Placement of curb and gutter along the edge of the roadway should be completed by the end of the day Tuesday, July 18. The next step will be placing concrete to fill in all four splitter islands and the central island. From there the road grades will be prepared for the placement of asphalt.
