Wagner Rd: Tail End of Wagner

By October 7, 2021Project Updates

There has been a lot of progress on the Wagner Rd Safety Project in Lodi and Scio Townships.

The intersection of Wagner Rd and Waters Rd was reopened on Wednesday, September 29. Since then, our operations crew completed the seal coat on Wagner Rd to extend the life of the pavement. Click here to read more about this practice.

Also, our contractor has completed turf restoration, flashing beacon installation and other miscellaneous punch-list items. Overall, the majority of the intersection work has been completed. The remaining work includes placing permanent pavement markings and centerline rumble strips, both of which will be completed at a later date.

If you have any questions, please contact Elena Yadykina, engineer – Traffic and Safety, (734) 327-6675, [email protected].

P.S. We have been getting a lot of questions regarding the traffic signal at the intersection of Liberty Rd and Wagner Rd. The traffic signal will be restored as soon as DTE is able to install new utility poles. They are currently working on immediate storm response. Thank you for your continued patience as we work to restore this intersection.
