Wagner Rd: All Hands on Deck!

This multi-part Wagner Rd Safety Project in Lodi and Scio Townships is slowly but surely coming together. Here’s a summary of each of the major elements:

Culvert replacements: We will be replacing two culverts on Wagner Rd between Scio Church Rd and Liberty Rd. We are planning for this to begin early August. Once it begins, we expect the culvert replacements to take approximately two weeks to complete. The road will be closed to through traffic during this work. During the closure, the contractor will maintain access for residents and property owners who live or own property within the project limits.

Intersection of Waters Rd and Wagner Rd: We will be installing a left-turn lane and a flashing beacon at the intersection of Waters Rd and Wagner Rd. We are planning for this to begin mid August, and we expect the intersection work to take approximately 5 weeks to complete. The intersection will be closed to ALL traffic during this work.

Intersection of Wagner Rd and Dexter-Ann Arbor Rd: We continue to make progress at the intersection of Wagner Rd and Dexter-Ann Arbor Rd. The new traffic signal poles have been installed and we expect the contractor to finish the signal upgrade within a few weeks.

We expect all of these elements will be completed by the end of this construction season.
