There continues to be a lot of progress on the US-12 and M-17 Improvement Project in Ypsilanti Township. Despite the rain last week, the contractor was able to place gravel shoulders along EB US-12 and prepare for more turf restoration. This week, they plan to place more gravel shoulders and continue to pour concrete for sidewalks. In addition, they will pave parts of M-17 (Ecorse Rd).
With all the progress over the last few weeks, it is time to shift traffic for the final stage of construction. We expect traffic to be shifted starting as soon as tomorrow. Click here for a map of the new traffic plan.
We are still on track to have most of the work wrapped up by the end of October as long as the weather continues to cooperate.
