Traffic Shift Advisory: Grove Road (Ypsilanti Twp)

WHEN: Starting Wednesday, June 12, 2019

WHERE: Grove Road between Margarita Street and Harris Road in Ypsilanti Township

WHY: Slope evaluation, road repairs

BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, June 12, 2019, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will shift west bound traffic to the on-street parking lane on Grove Road between Margarita Street and Harris Road in Ypsilanti Township. East bound traffic will also be shifted. Two-way traffic will be maintained.

This lane shift will allow for the continued evaluation and follow up repairs to this segment of Grove Road.

Residents who live within the work zone will be provided access to their driveways, but on-street parking will not be permitted on Grove Road between Margarita Street and Harris Road in Ypsilanti Township after today, Tuesday, June 11, 2019.

Every attempt will be made to contact vehicle owners for those vehicles remaining in the on-street parking area after today. However, if a vehicle owner cannot be contacted, the vehicle will be towed. The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department will enforce this temporary traffic order.
