The Home Stretch

By July 18, 2019Project Updates

We are in the home stretch of the Textile Road Paving Project in Pittsfield Township. Our contractor is making good progress on the pathway, they are hoping to pave the pathway during the last week of July. Once the pathway has been paved, the road will be paved with the final layer of asphalt. After all the paving has been completed, there will some soft surface restoration work and other punch list items (pavement markings, signs, etc.) to complete before the road can be reopened to traffic.

WCRC expects the project to be completed and the road reopened by early August. As a reminder, Textile Road remains closed to ALL traffic from the Thomas Road intersection to just west of Platt Road in Pittsfield Township. We know it has taken a long time to get to this point and we really appreciate your patience.
