This summer, in partnership with the City of Saline, we will build a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Textile Road and Woodland Drive on the border of Pittsfield Township and the city. In preparation for this project, we will begin tree removals at the intersection of Textile Road and Woodland Drive in the coming weeks. The intersection will remain open to traffic during this work but there may be lane restrictions. All tree removal work will be completed by March 31, 2020.
We are still planning to start roundabout construction in June. During the construction of the roundabout, the intersection will be closed to all traffic for approximately 8 weeks. We will host a construction open house sometime in May to help answer questions before construction begins. A separate announcement will be posted once the open house date has been set.
