We will soon start roundabout construction at the intersection of Textile Road and Woodland Drive on the border of Pittsfield Township and the City of Saline. As of right now, our contractor is planning to close the intersection on Monday, June 29. This start date could change as we get closer.
Once the intersection is closed and construction begins, the intersection will be closed to all traffic, including bicyclists and pedestrians, for approximately 8 weeks.
Access to the Saline Recreation Center and Tefft Park will be maintained via Woodland Drive. Pedestrians should not cross through the project work zone from north of Textile Road to reach the Saline Recreation Center or Tefft Park.
