Textile/Woodland: Adding Some Color

By July 22, 2020Project Updates

Concrete work continues at the intersection of Textile Road and Woodland Drive in Pittsfield Township. Our contractor finished pouring the concrete curb and is now working on the splitter islands and central island. These areas will have red stamped concrete, the color change helps highlight the roundabout shape to incoming traffic. Once the concrete is poured, it will need a few days to cure before our contractor can begin grading the surrounding area in preparation for asphalt paving.

In addition, after hearing some feedback from area motorists, we temporarily switched the traffic signal at Textile Road and Maple Road into flash to help with traffic flow. The signal will be switched back to its regular cycle once the roundabout has been completed.

If you have any questions or concerns about this project, please contact Michele Ford, project manager, (734) 327-6652, [email protected].
