Our contractor began to install steel sheeting on Grove Road in Ypsilanti Township yesterday. Unfortunately, this is a very noisy process and we apologize for the annoyance. This method is the best way to install this important sheeting to stabilize the slope. Once the sheeting has been fully installed, it will be level with the road’s curb.
Grove Road remains closed to through traffic between Margarita Street and Harris Road in Ypsilanti Township. Access to the residential properties and Loon Feather Point Park will be maintained. However, on-street parking is not be permitted on Grove Road between Margarita Street and Harris Road during this project.
