Road Reopened: Grove Road (Ypsilanti Twp)

WHEN: Effective Friday, October 18, 2019

WHERE: Grove Road between Margarita Street and Harris Road in Ypsilanti Township

WHY: Completion of slope stabilization

BACKGROUND:  On Friday, October 18, 2019, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) re-opened Grove Road between Margarita Street and Harris Road in Ypsilanti Township.

The work remaining includes the construction of new concrete sidewalk along the south side of the road and the installation of new pavement markings. This work is expected to be completed in the very near future.

To accommodate the above noted remaining work, we will be implementing a lane shift, moving westbound traffic into the on-street parking lane in front of your home. The shifting of the traffic will include temporary traffic control and temporary pavement markings.
