Construction on the Michigan Ave reconstruction project, between the I-94 westbound off ramp and Hewitt Rd in Ypsilanti Township, is slowly making progress.
Last week, our contractor replaced sidewalk ramps and began paving the roadway. However, there is still a large portion of paving to complete. Once paving is completed, the remaining punch list items will be finished while the road is open to traffic.
As a reminder, the project limits are CLOSED until paving is completed. The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will continue to send out updates as the project progresses.
