Roundabout construction at the intersection of Bemis Rd and Whittaker Rd in Augusta & Ypsilanti Townships is nearing the finish line!
Last week, the contractor completed the restoration of the site as well as the preparation for the asphalt pavement. The contractor began asphalt paving of the roundabout today and expects to complete paving in the next couple days. Next steps include placing pavement markings and installing permanent signs. Once this work is completed, the road will be reopened!
