Construction on the Bemis Rd and Whittaker Rd Roundabout in Augusta & Ypsilanti Townships is moving along!
Over the last few weeks, the contractor completed the installation of the storm sewer. The contractor is currently working to complete the placement of the roadway base material. Later this week we expect the concrete curbs to be installed.
As a reminder, the intersection of Bemis Rd and Whittaker Rd is CLOSED to all traffic for the safety of the public and construction workers. Please refrain from entering the project limits, as it is an active construction zone. The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will continue to send out updates as the project progresses.
