Construction is going well on our culvert replacement project on Old US 12 between Liebeck Rd and Sylvan Rd in Sylvan Township.
Over the past few days, Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) crews were able to construct the new culvert and begin excavation of the old culvert. Currently, WCRC crews are working to create a stable base for the new culvert and place the structure. Next steps are placing wing walls then rebuilding the road base around the new structure.
