On Thursday, May 4, 2023, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) began a resurfacing project on Textile Rd between Crane Rd and Rawsonville Rd in Pittsfield & Ypsilanti Townships. During construction, traffic on Textile Rd will be maintained using lane restrictions and a flagging operation. This project will be completed in segments to coordinate with simultaneous projects taking place within the project limits. These restrictions are expected to be in place for approximately four months.
Thank you to those who were able to attend our virtual public meeting on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. If you weren’t able to join us, click here to watch the meeting recording or check out the slide show. Construction on Textile Rd between Whittaker Rd and Huron River Dr has been completed, and construction on Textile Rd between Bridge Rd and Rawsonville Rd is expected to be completed by the end of this week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change based on weather conditions. WCRC will continue to send out updates as the project progresses.
