Construction is moving along on the Michigan Ave reconstruction project out in Ypsilanti Township!
Last week, we closed the road to prepare for the reconstruction project. This week, our contractor has been removing the existing asphalt surface, and expects to be removing the concrete surfaces within the next few days. Once the surface of the road has been removed, our contractor will begin replacing the curbs. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change based on weather conditions and contractor scheduling. The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will continue to send out updates as the project progresses.
