Construction has resumed on the D3 section of the Border-to-Broder (B2B) pathway along the Huron River in Scio Township.
The contractor continues to await approvals from Amtrak before they can build the bridge abutments and place the bridge. However, over the next few weeks the contractor will be placing topsoil, shaping the drainage ditches, and preparing to install fence.
As a reminder, for the safety of the public and workers, please refrain from entering the project site or climbing on the bridge pieces. It is an active construction zone and is not open for public use. The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will continue to send out updates as the project progresses.
