On August 28, 2026, the contractor working on behalf of the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) reopened Island Lake Rd, including the intersections at Dexter-Pinckney Rd and Dexter-Chelsea Rd in Webster and Scio Townships.
The contractor has traffic signal related work to complete at intersection of Island Lake Rd and Dexter-Pinckney Rd; traffic will be maintained during this remaining work. There are other minor items of work remaining throughout the project. Motorists should expect some delays with shoulder and/or lane closures.
