The culvert replacement project is progressing on Six Mile Rd between Raphael St and Turnberry Dr in Northfield Township.
During the week of October 12, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) Contractor dammed the stream, removed the existing culvert, and placed the new box culvert.
Construction crews are finishing the installation of the wingwalls. Once complete, they will backfill the structure and place a fresh layer of gravel along the road surface.
Six Mile Rd between Raphael St and Turnberry Dr remains closed. Please continue to follow the detour.
