Project Update #1: Waterloo Rd Resurfacing (Lyndon Twp)

On May 27, the contractor working on behalf of the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC), began the resurfacing project on Waterloo Rd between Cassidy Rd and M-52 in Lyndon Township. Since then, crews milled (removed) the top layer of asphalt from Waterloo Rd, the contractor paved the road with new hot mix asphalt (HMA), and temporary pavement markings were installed. On June 5, 2026, the contractor will place gravel shoulders on Waterloo Rd.

In the coming weeks, permanent pavement markings will be placed on Waterloo Rd between Cassidy Rd and M-52 in Lyndon Township.
