The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will be replacing the existing culvert with a bridge on Warren Road, just west of Dixboro Road in Ann Arbor Township.
Construction is scheduled to begin in mid-to-late summer. The open to traffic will be early October, depending on weather conditions.
During construction, Warren Road will be closed to through traffic between Thornwood Court and Dixboro Road. Motorists will not be able to cross at the bridge location. However, access will be maintained for residents and those who work within the construction zone. A paved-road detour will be posted to direct all other traffic.
Utility relocation work has already been completed. The next steps include demolishing the existing culvert, followed by delivery and assembly of the new bridge structure.
WCRC will continue to provide updates throughout the project. Please note that all dates are tentative and may change due to weather or scheduling.
