We continue to make great progress at the intersection of Pontiac Tr and N. Territorial Rd in Salem Township. Our contractor began placing concrete curb yesterday and will continue this work for the next few days. Once curb has been placed, it will need a couple of days to cure. For those homes and businesses in the work zone, access will be maintained to driveways during this concrete pour with part-width openings. Please follow all instructions from the crew onsite to make sure wet concrete isn’t damaged.
Once all the curbs have been placed, our contractor will continue with earthwork and grading of the site.
The intersection remains closed to ALL through traffic. Access for those who live on Dutch Hill Dr and those traveling to businesses located at the intersection will be provided but NO traffic will be allowed to traverse the intersection itself. Law enforcement is issuing tickets to those who attempt to violate the closure. Please follow the posted detour or take an alternate route.
