Pile Driving = Loud Noises

By April 29, 2019Project Updates

Things are about to get a little noisy on the Huron River Drive D2 Segment of the Border-to-Border trail. Starting tomorrow, our contractors will be begin driving the piles for the abutment of Bridge #1. Pile driving is quite a loud process; area residents, passing motorists, and park users are likely to hear the commotion associated with this operation. If the weather cooperates, this work should completed by the end of next week. Pile driving will only take place during the day, our contractors will not be driving any piles during the night.

Please remember to keep your distance from all active work zones and give workers and equipment plenty of room to work. These can be hazardous areas that the general public should avoid.
