Pause in the Action

By August 7, 2019Project Updates

The full steel retaining wall has been installed along Grove Rd in Ypsilanti Township. We are now working with our contractor to finalize the road reconstruction plans which will include replacement of significant portions of the storm sewer, road, curb, and sidewalk.

Work on the site will temporarily pause, pending finalization of the plans. In order to protect the motoring public and the work site, Grove Road will remain closed during this pause to all through traffic between Margarita Street and Harris Road. Property owners and residents who live within the work zone will continue to have access to their driveway from the Harris Road end of the project.

We are making every effort to advance this challenging project on an expedited timeline. However, due care must be taken to perform the work in an efficient and thoughtful manner. The road repairs will take approximately four to six weeks, but will depend upon the weather, site conditions, scope of work, and contractor schedules.

We appreciate your understanding while we continue our response to this challenging situation. If you have any questions, please contact Nate Murphy, (734) 327-6647 or [email protected].
