WHERE: Parker Rd between Bent Tree Dr and Dexter-Chelsea Rd in Lima and Scio Townships
WHY: Utility work: DTE Gas
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, a contractor for DTE gas will close the northbound lane of Parker Rd between Bent Tree Dr and Dexter-Chelsea Rd in Lima and Scio Townships during daytime hours to conduct utility work related to the 2023 Parker Rd Culvert Project.
Traffic on Parker Rd will be maintained with a flagging operation during daytime hours. The northbound lane of Parker Rd will reopen at the end of each day and remain open until work resumes the following morning. The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The road work is expected to take 6 weeks. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
