We are making great progress on the Packard Rd Resurfacing Project in Pittsfield Township. Our contractor has finished paving the first layer of asphalt and poured concrete for some of the new sidewalk. The remainder of the sidewalk will be poured in the next few days.
Once the concrete sidewalk is cured, we will pave the final layer of asphalt. Pavement markings will be applied after the final layer of paving is complete. There are a few remaining punchlist items to complete before the road can be reopened, but we are hopeful that will be before the end of the month. Thank you for your continued patience as we work to complete this project.
As a reminder the road remains closed to ALL traffic during construction. ALL traffic is required to follow the posted detour route or seek an alternative route. Pedestrians should follow the signs posted on site for any sidewalk closures.
