Last weekend was sure a beautiful one; it was perfect weather for many activities, including paving on Zeeb Road in Lodi Township. Thanks to the nice weather, our contractors were able to complete the first layer of asphalt. They now will focus on roadside drainage and culvert work over the coming weeks. The final layer of paving won’t be completed until the drainage work has been wrapped up.
Despite the first layer of asphalt being down, the road and intersections remain closed to through traffic. We are hoping to have the project completed and the road reopened by mid-August. As a reminder – the Washtenaw County Sheriff continues to assist us in enforcing the road closure. Please follow the posted detour or seek an alternate route.
