As we continue to prepare for winter, it is a good time to start thinking about your benefits. We expect open enrollment for 2021 benefits to begin in a few weeks and will post details to Employee Central soon. While most of our providers will be the same, remember, our dental provider in 2021 will be Delta Dental. Click here to learn more about this change.
In the meantime, now is also a good time to review your MERS retirement benefit through the myMERS portal. If you haven’t created a myMERS account yet, I encourage you to do so. Once logged in, you can view your account balances, update your beneficiaries and utilize MERS’ planning tools.
MERS also has a ton of quality educational information on their website. If you were not able to participate in MERS’ virtual conference last week, I highly recommend checking out their video library and upcoming webinars. Click here for the entire video library. A pension is still one the best benefits that an employee can have, and it is never too early to start planning for retirement!
