Moving Water

By December 27, 2018Project Updates

We continue to make slow progress on the Sharon Valley Road Bridge reconstruction.

Last week, we de-watered the cofferdam and the artesian flows inside the cofferdam have been significantly reduced. Our contractor has now started prep work for the abutment/wingwalls. The reinforcing steel crew is expected to be onsite this week. Hopefully, we will be in a position to pour concrete the week after New Year’s, if the weather cooperates – pouring concrete diaphragms and a deck in freezing temperatures over open water is very challenging.

If you have any questions about this project, please contact Aaron Berkholz, project manager, at (734) 327-6648 or [email protected].
