Phew! There is a lot going on this summer on Miller Road in Scio Township including a bridge replacement, new roundabout and road resurfacing. Here’s the latest:
Roundabout
Our contractor continues to make progress on the new roundabout under construction at the intersection of Miller Road and Wagner Road. This week, they are laying the aggregate base in preparation for curbs. We are hoping to pour the concrete curb next week if the weather cooperates. The intersection remains closed to all traffic.
Bridge Over Honey Creek
Utility relocation work continues near the Miller Road bridge over Honey Creek. Due to this relocation work, the road closure for through-traffic has been extended. Miller Road is closed to through-traffic between E. Delhi Road and Wagner Road. Our contractor plans to begin removing the asphalt pavement from the bridge deck in the coming weeks.
Access for Residents Living within Construction Limits
We will not block you from your homes/driveways during these projects. Residents who live on Miller Road between E. Delhi Road and Wagner Road will continue to be provided access to their homes/driveways via west Miller Road until the roundabout is reopened, even when our contractor begins removing asphalt from the bridge deck.
