We continue our preparation work for paving and eventually reopening Miller Rd in Scio Township.
Starting tomorrow, WCRC crews will be back on Miller Rd between Zeeb Rd and the bridge for some berming. Berming is the process of scraping away dirt and sod that has built up along the road shoulder preventing proper drainage. They will conduct this work under lane restrictions, please use caution around the rolling operation.
Our bridge contractor continues to prepare to be on site in the next week or two. They are waiting for the weather to cooperate and for asphalt plants to reopen.
Our goal remains to reopen the road and bridge in June. Access for all local residents living within the Miller Rd work zone will be maintained at all times during the resurfacing work.
