Making Progress

By March 11, 2019Project Updates

Spring is hopefully just around the corner and we continue to make progress on the pathway construction. Last week our contractor, Davis Construction, installed silt fence and finished almost all of the tree removal work along the pathway.

This week, we will install construction fencing in the construction area within the Metropark. The plan is not to affect the beginning of the proposed trail area. We will also continue work on the abutment for Bridge #2.

Please contact Louie Taylor, project manager, if you have any questions (989) 686-3100, [email protected].

This project is part of the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission’s Border-to-Border Trail Network in partnership with the Huron Waterloo Pathway Initiative. The Washtenaw County Road Commission is involved with this project to help administer federal funds from the Transportation Alternatives Program Grant.
