Making a Plan

Tree work has been completed on Grove Road in Ypsilanti Township. We continue to fine tune our plan for stabilizing the slope and reconstructing the damaged road and roadside. This will be accomplished in two phases:

  1. Slope stabilization
  2. Reconstruction of Grove Road – including earthwork, storm sewer repair, curb, sidewalk, paving, guardrail, line markings, etc.

We are coordinating with area utilities to resolve any utility conflicts before this work can begin.

At this time, traffic remains shifted. The scope of work will likely require the closure of Grove Rd between Margarita Street and South Harris Road in the future. Access for residents, who live within the closure, and Loon Feather Point Park will be maintained. An advisory will be issued ahead of this closure.
