We are making great progress with the roundabout construction at the intersection of Liberty Rd and Zeeb Rd in Scio Township.
The following items have to be completed prior to the road reopening:
- The concrete poured last week has to finish curing to strength.
- Installation of street lighting by DTE’s contractors.
- Turf restoration and general clean up.
We are expecting the street lighting installation start later this week and take a few days, weather pending.
The intersection remains closed to ALL through traffic. Law enforcement is issuing tickets to those who attempt to violate the closure. Motorists must follow the posted detour or take an alternate route.
