The roundabout construction at the intersection of Liberty Rd and Zeeb Rd in Scio Township is getting closer to completion. Our contractor finished pouring the new concrete roadway and it is currently curing.
There is still a lot of work to do before the intersection is safe to reopen to traffic, including: pouring the concrete islands, installing light poles and signs, and placing gravel shoulders and pavement markings. The project is now expected to be complete by mid-September. We appreciate your continued patience as we work to complete this project.
The intersection remains closed to ALL through traffic. Law enforcement is issuing tickets to those who attempt to violate the closure. Motorists must follow the posted detour or take an alternate route.
