Unfortunately, rain has halted the Resurfacing project on Leforge Rd in Superior Township. Last week, due to weather conditions, our contractor was only able to pave the southbound lane of Leforge Rd. However, our contractor expects to finish paving this week if the weather cooperates.
After paving is completed, our crews will perform traffic signal work, install aggregate shoulders, and place pavement markings by the end of next week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Traffic will continue to be maintained with lane closures and a flagging operation during this work. Please be on the lookout for signage and construction personnel/equipment. We encourage motorists, emergency services and others to seek an alternate route whenever possible.
