It is going to be a busy week on the Leforge Rd Resurfacing Project in Superior Township. Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 11, WCRC crews will be on-site to replace a failing crossroad culvert that runs underneath Leforge Rd about halfway between Clark Rd and Geddes Rd. During this operation, Leforge Rd will be briefly closed to ALL traffic. The culvert work should only take a few hours and then the road will be reopened.
We plan to start paving on Thursday if the weather cooperates. During paving, traffic will be maintained but there will be lane closures. Paving is expected to take a few days to complete.
With all this activity, please continue to be on the lookout for signage and construction personnel/equipment. We encourage motorists, emergency services and others to seek an alternate route whenever possible.
