WHERE: Saline Milan Road between South Maple Road and Willis Road in the City of Saline and York Township.
WHY: Tree removal and trimming
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, March 27, 2019, Frontier Communications and the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin removing and trimming select trees on Saline Milan Road, between South Maple Road and Willis Road in the City of Saline and York Township.
This work is in preparation for the Saline-Milan Road bridge replacement project that will take place later this year.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route. This work is expected to last approximately 2 days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
