WHERE: Carpenter Road between Ellsworth Road and Packard Road in Pittsfield Township
WHY: Road resurfacing
BACKGROUND: On Monday, May 4, 2020, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a road resurfacing project on Carpenter Road between Ellsworth Road and Packard Road in Pittsfield Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but significant delays are likely due to lane restrictions. Access to driveways and TheRide bus stops within the work zone will be maintained.
WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route if possible.
This project expected to last until early-July. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
There will be intermittent closures of sidewalk ramps and crossing signals during this project.
