Huron River Dr: Preparation For Paving

By October 14, 2022Project Updates

This past week our crews have been performing forestry and drainage work in preparation for the resurfacing project on Huron River Dr. on the border of Dexter and Webster Townships.

This prep work is anticipated to continue for the next week and will be conducted under daytime road closures, meaning the road will be closed to through traffic during the day and then reopen each evening. Residents who live or work within the project limits will be provided access throughout construction.

We hope to start pulverizing the road surface in the coming weeks with paving in late October/early November. Once started, paving is expected to take approximately one week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions and contractor scheduling. During the road resurfacing part of this project, Huron River Dr will be closed to through traffic.
