The resurfacing project on Huron River Dr, in Dexter and Webster Townships, is looking good! Over the weekend, our contractor paved more than half of Huron River Dr. We hope to finish paving within the next few days, if the weather cooperates. Once paving has been completed, we will place gravel shoulders before reopening the road. In the following weeks, our contractor will return to place pavement markings.
Huron River Dr remains closed to all through traffic. Residents who live of work within the work zone will continue to be provided access throughout construction.
As a reminder, on days that we are paving, local traffic (people who live or work within the project limits) will only be permitted to travel southbound within the work zone.
